Very likely the original template of modern Vinyasa yoga styles, these specific sequences are meant to support the physical comfort and longevity of practitioners. Ashtanga Vinyasa delivers maximum benefit when students take on the study & practice with consistency over time.
The clear guidance of a teacher helps instill safe patterns; from Sun Salutations A & B through the standing, seated, & closing sequences the established asana sequences align the body with the flow of Prana (life-force/breath), which gently strengthens, opens & heals the body through mindful repetition. The consistent pattern makes it easy to practice between classes.
Mysore-Style format is well suited for those with prior yoga experience &/or who want to learn/practice the Ashtanga Vinyasa sequence with a teacher in the room. The 90-minute time frame is a container for students to practice at their own pace for as long as they need. Knowing the established sequence is not required.

Gentle Meridian Stretching. A defining feature of Shiatsu bodywork is the use of meridian pathways. Sometimes called channels or vessels, these lines conduct mental, emotional, physical & spiritual energy through the body. I’m so excited to share them with you!
This 60 minute session stretches the meridians in the circadian flow. The sequence includes standing, seated & reclined stretches. Each session concludes with rest & integration.
The above classes are open to the public & offered at Sacred Ally Empowerment Center.
Private lessons & group classes for genuinely interested students. We can tailor a sequence for your at-home practice, fine tune your established practice, learn in a small friend group & whatnot. Ashtanga poses, Meridian Stretches & breathing practices are all available.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 8:30 – 9:30am sessions currently available at my office. By appointment only.
Sliding scale pricing. No earnest practitioner will be turned away.
