FAQs

What clothes should I wear to receive a session?

For a Shiatsu sessions, bring or wear sweat pant or something similar, a long-sleeved shirt and socks. Full- length clothing supports body temperature, ease of movement, and protects from skin-pull with direct compression. Having the feet covered also helps maintain body temperature and hygene.

Core Synchronism focusses on the energy field and tends to take the receiver deep into their subconscious mind. For uninhibited relaxation it is helpful to wear comfortable clothing. Please avoid pants with belt loops or restricted waist lines. For those who tend to “run cold” please bring layers that can be added or removed for maximum comfort.

How often should I receive a session?

When a person is in deep need of bodywork therapy (dealing with an acute crisis or dislodging chronic patterns) it is recommended to receive a series of 6 sessions at one- or two- week intervals. This allows the healing process to unfold gradually for the individual.

If a person is new to manual therapy or is returning to a self- care routine, it is recommended to receive 3 sessions within 2 months. This supports the body’s natural healing intelligence, gives time for integration, and helps the whole being balance with the seasonal cycle.

For people who have plenty of bodywork history, a longer session at 4- to 6-week intervals is a good way to stay current with life and seasonal changes.
